Not a bad one this time :3 Dan is coming down on Sunday and will be here till the 11th. So I won't be around at all (not like I was anyway for anyone to notice) but just so the few that do care, know where I ran off to when you don't get journal updates for 2 weeks. Hopefully when I return from the hiatus, I will be alot more motivated for art. GO ME! Dunno what we're gonna do for 2 weeks, mostly eat, be lazy, watch movies, and play guildwars haha.

Right now I'm waiting for my lazy mom to get up so I can go tend to my poor car...want to make sure it won't explode when Dan's here haha. He's already not looking forward to being in that death trap Also gotta run to the store to get some things. Aaaaand I need to clean my room up. It's all being put on delay cause of my lazy mom >:I

My tooth-hole is healing perfectly. Pretty much healed, just waiting for the stitches to come out. I quit taking the antibiotics yesterday too. Got my appetite 100% back cause of it, so yay for that

Heard about Michael Jackson dieing yesterday I'm rather sad by it. I mean, I can't say I'm 100% surprised, cause his body was probably very unhappy with him for all those horrible surgeries. But he was still so young.
I'm sad because I grew up with his music, my first band concert I played was Rockin Robin..me and my sister had made up our owl little "dance" or whatever to his song Smooth Criminal. He was untouchable as far as a music career goes...inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, multiple Guinness World Records achievements ("Most Successful Entertainer of All Time"—13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles in his solo career — more than any other male artist in the Hot 100 era and the sale of 750 million records worldwide.)
I personally think he did start going downhill at some point. I don't necessarily believe the sexual child abuse he was accused of..but I believe his state of mind was a bit altered due to his childhood. He never got to really have a childhood because of how his father was, and then starting a music career. He still had a child's state of mind and found comfort revolving around that. I just think he was incredibly misunderstood..so his reputation started falling cause of it. I also think all his plastic surgery was tragic more than anything. Back in the days of Bad and Thriller, he was a good looking guy. I can understand his state of mind of WANTING to change his physical appearance..but I don't think he should have went through it..kinda ruined his good looks altogether.
He will be missed though. He was booked to do 50 live performances as a "come-back" tour before his retirement. He'll be missed, and I wish I had the chance to see one of his performances back in the day. Perhaps I'll do a tribute art for him sometime.

Oh, one last thing...I plan on opening my contest tonight or tomorrow...want to get it started while I'm away. I'll announce it in my contest journal when I do.
